Diecut Crazy!

Hi! I’m a little behind schedule due to having family visit this weekend, and while my card isn’t perfect (it happens!), I want to share it with you anyway, or I might never get this post written. 🙂 I just got the Blossoms in Bloom bundle, and here is my first go with it:

I am in love with these layering dies, similar to the Butterfly Beauty dies that are so gorgeous. I used one of the new In Color cardstock colors, Magenta Madness, in combination with Granny Apple Green and Daffodil Delight.

There is a nice variety of sentiments with the set, along with the flower images. I started by stamping the large flower image on whisper white with my Stamparatus, layered the magenta flower wide diecut on that, and the yellow thin outline next. I also cut the thin flower die in green, and started to insert the little “puzzle pieces” to the leaves, and in between the flowers- my Take Your Pick tool helped with all of those tiny pieces! I then decided to dry emboss the green outline piece with my brand new Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder. I layered that entire collage atop a piece of yellow cardstock, and adhered it to a Whisper White Thick card base. The sentiment was stamped in Daffodil Delight and cut with a die from the Stitched So Sweetly dies. One thing I would do differently is leave the pink puzzle pieces in place where I was layering the green pieces.

I hope you are inspired to make something beautiful today! Thanks for stopping by; all supplies are listed below and linked to my shop.

Happy stamping!

Michelle
