I get by with a little help from my friends…

Boy, is that line more appropriate than ever in these days of uncertainty! I’ve been keeping busy at home, doing overdue projects, and (of course!) making cards. I’ll be ready for months of card classes by the time they resume! Anyway, I’ve been sending out a LOT of cards, figuring all my friends and family could use a little pick-me-up. I am so grateful for my family, friends, and my furbabies. Here is one I thought might be really appropriate to the times:

This was super simple, with an 11 x 4.25 inch piece of Sahara Sand cardstock folded to make a standard 4.25 x 5.5 card. I cut a piece of Whisper White 4 x 5.25, and stamped the main sentiment in Memento black. Then I put the three small images on one block, and stamped them randomly around the main sentiment in Sahara Sand ink. The dog was stamped in Memento black and cut out with the matching punch, along with the hearts that are part of the punch. I punched an additional two dogs/hearts from white scrap paper, and two hearts from Petal Pink scrap, and layered them with Tombow glue for added dimension. They were then attached with mini-dimensionals. I love how it turned out!

I hope that you are staying well (or recovering nicely if you’ve been ill). Stamping is such a relaxing pastime- aren’t we lucky to have discovered it?
