Dino Days

One of my fellow stampers shared a sketch and challenged us to come up with a card.  This is the sketch:

It happens that I had just finished fussy-cutting all of the dinosaurs from one sheet of designer paper (while I sat with hubby watching a football game- it was actually kind of zen!).  This is what I ended up with- aren’t they adorable?

I’d been sorely tempted to buy the coordinating stamps and dies, but as I’ve said before, I’m trying to focus on stamps that will be most useful for my classes, so I just bought the paper instead.  Here’s what I did- super simple, and I probably will tweak it considerably if I do it for a class (I think tone on tone stamping on the orange would look nice).

I thought the window would be a cool way to feature the cut image, rather than attaching it to the front.  I used a punch for the opening, and here is the inside.  Cute, right?

I think it would be appropriate for any age.  We should all dream big!   Thanks for stopping by.  If you are interested in any of the items used here (listed below), or need other stamping items, please visit my shop by clicking on the Visit My Site button on this page.  I love feedback, so if you are so moved leave a comment!
