If you live someplace cold, you might enjoy this card I made for a class this week, featuring… butterflies! What better break from the winter doldrums? Here in Florida, we are enjoying butterflies visiting for the winter. I love them.
The beautiful embossed backgroung was matted in blue, the butterflies were stamped in black and colored using daubers in blue and yellow, then cut with a punch. The sentiment is raised with dimensional foam with ribbon underneath, and the inside of the card says “It’s a million little things.” Perfect for telling a friend how much you care, or thanking them for being there for you!
I hope you are inspired to create something beautiful this winter season.
Project list, all available from Stampin’ Up! on my website: Winter White cardstock, Balmy Blue Cardstock, Balmy Blue Ribbon, Memento Black ink, Balmy Blue and So Saffron ink. Stamp sets are Butterfly Gala and the sentiment is from Beauty Abounds. Diecuts were made with the Butterfly Duet punch and the sentiment cut with a Wonderful Floral framelit die. The embossing folder is Lace Dynamic Textured Impressions.
